7-Day Positive Rate In State Now 17.27% For COVID-19

The numbers continue to go up in Fond du Lac County. At least 62 new positive COVID-19 tests were confirmed over the weekend. That’s according to the DHS website. As always, we will need to wait until sometime Monday for the updated totals from Fond du Lac County Public Health. The DHS county total now stands at 1,713, with almost 22,000 total negative tests being processed. As of Friday afternoon there were 14 people hospitalized in the county due to coronavirus. The Department of Health Services confirmed Sunday that 1,665 – or 20 percent – of 8,320 test processed in the previous 24 hours were positive. The positive test rate for the past seven days is now 17.27 percent, and the 14-day rate is up to 16 percent. Wisconsin ranks seventh in the country for new cases per capita in the last two weeks, according to The COVID Tracking Project.
