AG Proud Of Drug Take Back Results

Attorney General Brad Schimel is proud of the recent Drug Take Back event held on Saturday, April 29th. Speaking with KFIZ News Schimel says more than 66,000 pounds of unused medications were collected, which he says is tremendous. He says it is more than they ever collected before. He says the people of Wisconsin are realizing they have a role in beating this epidemic by getting those dangerous unused medications somewhere safe for disposal. Police and sheriffs’ departments statewide hosted 150 Drug Take Back events that day, and have provided 328 permanent drug disposal drop boxes. There are ten located throughout Fond du Lac County.
