Army Places $1.69 Billion Order for Oshkosh Defense Vehicles

The US Army is placing a $1.69 billion order for thousands
of vehicles from Oshkosh Defense. The company reports the order calls fro 6,107
Joint Light Tactical Vehicles. The JLTV replaces older vehicles in the Army and
Marine Corps fleets. This is the tenth order under a military contract that
started in August 2015. Oshkosh Corporation has already delivered more than
2,600 vehicles to the military.
