BBB Offers Black Friday Shopping Advice
It’s Black Friday, and that means it’s the single busiest
shopping day of the year. The National Retail Federation says consumers in 2018
spent an average of $313 on gifts and other holiday items over the five-day
period between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday.
Officials with the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin say
that to get the most out of Black Friday in the stores, shoppers should start
with a list of items you’re looking for and use sale flyers and promotions to
determine which store has the best price. Experts also suggest to read the fine
print and know exactly what the sale terms are, do research on the products you
want to buy, read customer reviews and know the return policy and warranty
information.
