Campbellsport Man Arrested For OWI And Hit And Run In West Bend

West Bend Police arrested a 47-year-old Campbellsport man for his 3rd drunken driving offense early Friday morning after the man walked away from an accident. Police say a caller reported seeing smoke in the area of a Highway 45 off ramp. Officers found a vehicle that left the road and struck a stop sign before ending up in the ditch. The Campbellsport man was found walking about a block away. A breath test put his blood alcohol level at more than 1 ½ times the legal limit.
