City Of Fond du Lac Residents Can View Oshkosh Light Show For Free On Sunday (12/19/2021)
The high winds Wednesday night and into Thursday took its toll on the Holiday Light Show located at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac. The popular attraction is back up and running, but with limited lights.
Having heard about the wind destruction, The Oshkosh Celebration of Lights has announced they will be allowing all Fond du lac residents to go through their lights at no charge on Sunday evening December 19th.
According to Sarah Harbridge, Administrative Assistant with the City of Fond du Lac, “They heard of the misfortune with our show and wanted to reach out to our community to offer the free entrance. All that needs to be done is to show a driver’s license or ID showing they live in Fond du Lac at the entrance and they will allow the car in at no charge. The normal charge is $10 per vehicle. It is recommended to bring a sealed hygiene item to donate (Shampoo, deodorant, soap, etc.)”
The show, now in its 20th year, is at Menomonee Park in Oshkosh and is open from 5:30pm-9pm. You can access the website here: https://www.oshkoshcol.org/
