Construction Update in Fond du Lac County For First Week Of October

Construction on 41 between Fond du Lac and the south county line continues this week.
Crews are expected to finish with asphalt milling and paving and continue installing new cable guard.
41 is restricted to one lane in each direction when work is being done resulting in severely reduced speeds and back-ups.
Several crashes have resulted due to the slow downs.
Drivers are reminded to be extra vigilant in construction zones while crews are present.
Work on 151 north of Fond du Lac between County Highways Q and W looks to be completed this week.
Crews are scheduled to complete asphalt paving, pavement marking, and open the highway back up to traffic this week.
A detour is currently set up around the construction.
The 4 lane expansion of highway 23 also continues this week between Highway 151 and Seven Hills Road.
23 will generally remain open to one lane in each direction with the majority of the work this week focusing on the paved recreational trail alongside the highway and
turning lane construction on the northbound US 151 off-ramp to WIS 23 which may result in travel delays during peak traffic periods.
The Highway 23 project is expected to continue into December.
