Corn Bin Fire Reported Sunday Night Near Rosendale

Fire fighters from several fire departments battled a corn bin fire for several hours Sunday, October 30, 2022.

Around 8:40 PM the Rosendale, Lamartine and Brandon/Fairwater Fire Departments as well as Lifestar Ambulance out of Waupun were paged to the fire at W10139 Hollander Drive off Highway 26.

Crews spent around 4 hours fighting the blaze and used heavy equipment to remove the corn so they could better access the fire.

It’s unknown at this time how the fire started.
