Counterfeit Currency Shows Up Again In Fond du Lac

Fond du Lac Police
are investigating 2 more cases of a counterfeit bill. First incident occurred at
the O’Connor Quick Mart. Police were called just before 10:30 yesterday morning
for a report of a counterfeit $100 bill surfacing at the Quick Mart on FDL Avenue. The 2^nd
call came in shortly before midnight at Quality Packaging located on Morris St in Fond du Lac,
where an employee informed police she had given 2 males a ride to Milwaukee and they paid
her with 2 fake $50 bills.  Police are
warning residents and business owners alike to be aware, as this makes at least
5 instances of counterfeit currency popping up in the city in the past month.
