Court Dates Set for High Speed Chase Suspect

Another court date has been set for the man accused of leading a Fond du Lac County deputy on a high speed chase late last month. 

27-year old Kevin O’Brien of Sussex is now scheduled to return to court in February for a Plea/Sentencing Hearing. A potential jury trial is set for late March. 

O’Brien was reportedly clocked going over 100 miles per hour along Interstate 41 before speeding up in an attempt to flee the deputy who attempted to pull him over. The 12-mile pursuit ended in Dodge County after another deputy deployed tire deflation devices. 

O’Brien faces charges of Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Fleeing an Officer, and two felony counts of Bail Jumping.
