Crash on I-41 Southbound Backs Up Traffic To Winnebago County Line

An injury crash Thursday afternoon, December 8, 2022 had drivers crawling along I-41 during their afternoon commute.

Two North Fond du Lac ambulances and Eldorado Fire Department were dispatched to the scene just south of County Road N for a car that rear-ended a box truck.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, two people in the box truck and one person in the car were injured and all were taken to SSM/St Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

The crash was reported at 3 PM and by 4 PM DOT traffic cameras and Google map software showed traffic backed up to the Winnebago County line.

By 4:20 the scene was clear and traffic was flowing again.
