Discover Moraine Park

High school students, displaced workers, and people looking to change careers are invited to “Discover Moraine Park” at the College’s three campuses over the next month. Erin Wierenga is a recruit specialist at MPTC. She says the events will be held this Wednesday at the West Bend campus, Wednesday, October 11th at the Fond du Lac campus, and Wednesday, October 18th at the Beaver Dam campus. It will be done on a walk-in basis from 4 to 6 p.m. at each of the campuses. Moraine Park Associate Dean of Manufacturing Marcia Arndt says they will have representatives from some of the area’s biggest companies at the events. Server Products, Steel Craft, BCI Burke and Metal Craft will be at the event in West Bend. In Fond du Lac employers will include Kondex, Fives, May Steel, Metal Craft, Amerequip, Michels Corporation, Mid-State Aluminum and BCI Burke, and at Beaver Dam employers will include Metal Craft and BCI Burke. One-on-One assistance from financial aid specialists will also be available.
