Door County sees three house fires in two days

Fire fighters in Door County have now responded to three house fires in two days… with two of them resulting in fatalities. The most recent fire was Thursday, December 5, 2024, when a fire started in an attached garage and spread to the house. This fire happened on County Highway X near Church Road, South of Brussels.

On Wednesday, two other fires occurred in the town of Nasewaupee. One person in each of those fires was killed. Investigators are looking into the causes of each of these fires.
