Drug Bust In Washington County

Washington County authorities seized 49 marijuana plants and 7.6 pounds of pot from an out building in the Town of West Bend Thursday. A search warrant was executed at 5855 State Highway 144. The search warrant was the result of an ongoing drug investigation. Sheriff’s officials say a 54-year-old man was arrested on marijuana and controlled substance trafficking charges. Drug paraphernalia and growing equipment were also seized during the search. It’s estimated the street value of each plant was potentially $1,000.
