Drugs and cash found on Oshkosh man in Fond du Lac County

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has released information regarding their latest in a string of drug busts in the county after unrelated traffic stops.
In the latest incident, a deputy pulled over a vehicle for driving too slow and impeding traffic. The Deputy noticed the driver, who said he was traveling from Chicago to Oshkosh, appeared to be nervous and was sweating profusely during the traffic stop.

The deputy called for a Sheriff’s K9 to perform an open air sniff around the vehicle which the K9 alerted positive to for the presence of drugs. This allows deputies cause to search the vehicle and In the search, deputies found a duffle bag in the trunk with a significant amount of various drugs they say were packaged for sale including 168 grams of methamphetamine, 34 grams of M30 pills that tested positive for fentanyl, blue pressed methamphetamine pills and 6 grams of marijuana. A large amount of suspected drug money was also in the bag.

The Oshkosh man, who was arrested and will be facing numerous drug related charges in Fond du Lac County is also awaiting trial in Outagamie County for possession of cocaine and possession of THC.
