Dual crashes on west Johnson Street snarl afternoon traffic

Back to back crashes in the City of Fond du Lac kept traffic on Johnson Street on the cities west side snarled up for about an hour Monday, July 8, 2024.

At 3 PM Fond du Lac City Fire/Rescue responded to the intersection of Johnson and Seymour for a reported crash with injuries. Police closed the westbound lanes of traffic while they worked that scene. Then, about a half hour later, a second crash occurred just blocks away at the intersection of Johnson and Pioneer Road.

While a second ambulance was dispatched to that scene, the fire engine at the first crash was able to respond to the second crash straight from the first crash.

No details on injuries were released on either crash.
