SUMMARY:8th Annual Vintage Snowmobile Show and Ride the Bol
DESCRIPTION:The event is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 AM with sled registration for those who want to show off their “Old Steel.” Anyone interested to ride the track on a vintage sled can purchase a $5.00 pass. This pass allows unlimited access to ride the track until 4:00 PM. At noon\, a parade lap will be held for anyone with a vintage snowmobile for a chance to ride the track as part of a group ride. No wrist band required to participate in the parade lap. In the past\, the parade laps have involved over 80 sleds. It is quite a sight to see all those old sleds travel around the half-mile track. Go on a tracking scavenger hunt on our Short Loop Trail\, dissect an owl pellet or make your own snowy owl. Snowshoe (conditions permitting) out to the Storybook Trail\, play board games while sipping hot chocolate and eating popcorn\, or warm up around the campfire. Test your creative side by entering the “Wanna Build a Snow Animal” contest or try to build a small shelter warm enough for your imaginary hibernating animal to survive.
