Fatal Crash Near Waupun Investigated

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred just outside of Waupun Sunday night, November 6, 2022.

At 7:05 PM deputies as well as Waupun Fire Department and Lifestar Ambulance responded to the crash on Highway 151 just north of County Road C, in the township of Trenton.

Initial investigation showed that a 44 year old man from Arkansas was operating a semi-tractor/trailer east bound on County Rd C and crossed the south bound lanes
of highway 151 to turn north bound.

As the driver entered the north bound lanes of 151 he was struck by a 2013 Town and Country operated by a 75 year old man from Neenah.

A 2016 Chevy Trax driven by a 59 year old female also northbound, struck the Town and Country.

The semi driver was not injured and the female driver of the Chevy Trax was transported to a local hospital by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

The man driving the Town and Country was pronounced dead at scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner.

Highway 151 was closed for several hours as reconstruction crews worked the scene.
