FDL County Continues To See Drop In COVID Cases

It’s too early to tell if the Sturgeon Spearing opening weekend will create a spike, but the weekend COVID-19 numbers proved promising for Fond du Lac County.

58 new confirmed cases of the virus were reported on Monday (2/14/2022) which was a culmination of all the new cases since Friday afternoon. Total confirmed cases in the county are now at 28,717.

Active cases also continue to decline, down 81 to 632.

There were 136 additional cases listed as released, while the Fond du Lac County Health Department reported 1,060 negative tests since Friday afternoon.

The county also saw a decline in hospitalizations, down 4. There are now 5 people receiving medical care in county hospitals due to complications from the coronavirus.

The Fond du Lac County Health Department did report 3 new additional deaths, with now a total of 205 deaths in the county attributed to COVID-19.
