FDL Man Injured in Shooting Incident

Fond du Lac Police are investigating a shooting incident
that happened Saturday evening. Officers were called to the 400 block of Forest
Avenue around 6:45 pm for a report of a person yelling for someone to call
9-1-1. A 19-year-old Fond du Lac man was found at the scene with a gunshot
wound. He was transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital with a non-life
threatening wound. Police say the shooting is still under investigation, but it
was not a random act of violence and the public is not in any danger. The
weapon has also been recovered by police.
