FDL PD Investigates Shots Fired

An early Sunday (12/19/2021) morning report of shots fired continues to be investigated by the Fond du Lac Police Department.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of E. 1st St., just before 2:10 a.m., with multiple callers reported multiple gun shots being fired. It was also reported there was a disturbance that occurred prior to the shots.

Officers arrived in the area and did not locate anyone or any active disturbance, but did locate several shell casings in the road near the corner of Adams St. and 1st St.

There were also reports of a white sedan that took off headed west on 1st St., towards Main St. and may have been involved in the incident. Investigators are looking to speak with the driver of the vehicle.
