FDL Police Identify Five In Smashed Car Windows Spree
Fond du Lac Police have identified five Fond du Lac men ages 19 to 26-years-old suspected of smashing out the windows of over 60 vehicles overnight Monday. Police say investigators determined the five were driving around in a pickup truck and used baseball bats to smash out the windows of vehicles parked on City streets. The damage was done late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Two 20-year-old men were arrested late yesterday afternoon and charges are being referred against 19, 20 and 26-year-old men. Felony charges of being party to the crime of criminal damage to property are being sought against all five. Police Officer Nate Rucker and Detectives Lee Mikulec, Mike Mueller and Jeff Harbridge are being credited for the quick arrests that were made in the case.
