FDL Salvation Army Volunteers A Constant Need
Fond du Lac Salvation Army Captains Steve and Telinda Wilson say they are always looking for volunteers for the services they provide the community. Steve Wilson says he constantly hears praise for their services, but it is the volunteers that make it all possible. He says the food pantry, red kettle drive, and food drives and more happen through the Salvation Army, but the volunteers are the ones who pitch in and make those things happen in the community. Telinda Wilson says volunteers can find out about opportunities with the Salvation Army through their website or by going to myvolunteerpage.com. Telinda Wilson says they have already used the services of over 900 volunteers this year. She says they will need additional volunteers for the Brown Bag Lunch program this summer. April is Volunteer Month.
