Fill The Boot

More than $3,600 was collected during the Fond du Lac Firefighters Local 400’s Fill the Boot collection last Friday at the KFIZ and 107.1 The Bull parking lot. Andrew Aird is the coordinator of the union’s Muscular Dystrophy Association effort. He says they were able to raise $3,657. He says it was a good response from the community. That does not include the $2 A &W was donating for each root beer float sold that day. Aird says he’s looking forward to working with the radio stations again next year. Along with the collection from the first Fill the Boot effort on August 1st more than $8,200 has been collected. The last collection is this Friday at Division and Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
