Fire Station Open House

As part of Fire Prevention Week the Fond du Lac Fire Department held an open house at the South Main Street Station on Thursday night.  Guests had a chance to take a tour of the fire station, get a close-up look at the various engines and the Flight For Life helicopter.  The fire department also gave a demonstration on how the “Jaws of Life” is used at an accident scene and also showed how quickly a kitchen grease fire can get out of control.
