Firearm Burglary Suspect Charged in Three Separate Cases
The man arrested in connection with a series of daytime
firearm burglaries was charged for three other incidents on Wednesday. Matthew
Britton could be charged today (Thursday) on the firearms charges – but three
other criminal complaints were also filed against him.
One case includes
charges for false imprisonment, misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct, and
bail jumping for an incident back on October 24th. Britton and the
mother of his child got into an argument when he allegedly grabbed her and
refused to let her leave the vehicle they were in.
A second case filed charges
for cocaine delivery – after an investigator reportedly purchased 2.1 grams of
crack cocaine from him on October 26th.
The third case filed charges
of misdemeanor bail jumping and resisting an officer – after he fled in a
vehicle, then took off on foot when an officer tried to arrest him Tuesday.
Britton then reportedly tripped on a fence and fell before being taken into
custody.
