Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department Cruiser Damaged In Crash

What started out as a reckless driver complaint to the Fond du Lac County Communications Center, ended in a three car crash involving the caller, the reckless driver and a responding Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office cruiser.

Around 6:48 Thursday, October 13, 2022, a caller reported the reckless driver travelling north on 41 from County Highway Y.

While on the phone with the communications Center operator, the operator heard what sounded like a crash and the person on the phone moaning.

The officer that was in the area looking for the reckless driver advised that the crash happened and their cruiser was involved.

No other details are known at this time regarding the reason the driver was driving recklessly or what caused the crash.

No injuries were reported and The Wisconsin State Patrol was called to investigate the crash.
