Fond du Lac Police Investigate Overnight Report Of Shots Fired

The Fond du Lac Police Department are investigating a report of shots fired overnight.

Around 1:30 AM reports started coming into the Fond du Lac County Dispatch Center from a few different locations in the city.

Police responded to these locations and ultimately found the shooting occurred on 6th Street just east of Park Avenue.

According to a witness on the scene, there were five evidence markers on the street where possible bullet casings were found and the witness said it looked like a house in the area may have been hit several times.

A press release from the Fond du Lac Police Department says there was property damage to two residences due to the gunshots and there were no reported injuries.
