Good Turnout Few Problems With FDL County Elections

More than 52,000 people cast their ballots in Fond du Lac County Tuesday. County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says they did have some issues feeding absentee ballots into election machines, but it was nothing of consequence. She says the turnout was much higher than expected. She says the 52.217 voters made up 87 percent of the registered voters in the county. Freiberg was unopposed for County Clerk, as was Eric Toney for District Attorney, Brenda Schneider for County Treasurer, and Jim Krebs for Register of Deeds.
