Harley-Davidson to hit the Off-road trail?

Harley-Davidson has experienced some bumps in the road the past few years. Revenue this past quarter was $1.15 billion, down from the $1.23 billion from a year ago. It’s expecting to sell close to 222,000 bikes in 2019, one of the lowest totals in the past 10 years. Now comes word from HD that they are looking to roll out a line of Off Road electric bikes, starting with the LiveWire, to attract a new and younger generation of Harley customers. But don’t expect the LiveWire to fly off the shelf, at least not right away. The price tag for the LiveWire? $29,799.
