Highway 151 Closed For Power Lines Downed After Crash

Highway 151 in Dodge County had to be closed for a period of time yesterday because of a vehicle crash that knocked powerlines down across both north and southbound lanes.

A 55-year-old Madison man crashed and rolled his vehicle near east Salem Road south of Beaver Dam around 2 PM yesterday, striking a power pole knocking
the wires down.

The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to Marshfield Medical Center of Beaver Dam for treatment.

He was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated.

A semi and two cars were damaged in the incident because of the power lines being on the roadway.

Adams Columbia Electrical Cooperative responded to repair the pole and powerlines.
