Hit And Run Investigated By FDL County Sheriff’s Department

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a dark red or maroon vehicle that was involved in a hit and run on Hwy. 23 Monday evening.

Sheriff’s Deputies were notified just before 8:20 p.m. Monday night by a caller stating a car was in the ditch on Hwy. 23 at Esterbrook Rd. The 56-year old female driver of the vehicle stated she was rear-ended and pushed into the ditch by what she thought was a maroon vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled the scene heading south on Esterbrook Rd.

Deputies noticed maroon colored pieces scattered in the roadway. The suspect vehicle appears to be dark red or maroon in color, and would have a front grill missing as well as missing the front license holder. There were no injuries reported, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the FDL County Sheriff’s Department.
