Homicide Charges Pending In Merrill Ave Death

Fond du Lac Police have announced they have made an arrest in connection to the suspicious death from Saturday where a 51-year-old female was found deceased at 70 east Merrill Ave in Fond du Lac.

On Wednesday, police conducted a search warrant in the same multi-family building where the female was found and took a 57-year-old man into custody and are holding him at the Fond du Lac County Jail.

Charges of first degree intentional homicide and resisting/obstruction will be referred to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s office.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
