Hwy. 23 Rollover Accident Injures One

Traffic on Hwy. 23 had to be redirected Friday evening while rescue personnel assisted at the scene of a one-vehicle rollover accident.

The incident occurred Friday (12/3/2021) just before 8:40 p.m. on Hwy. 23 near County Road C just outside of Eldorado, with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department arriving on the scene.

A pickup truck operated by an 18-year old male had flipped over and was upside down in the east lane of Hwy. 23.

The driver was able to exit the truck through a side window, but did suffer injuries, although the extent of the injuries was not known as of this morning.

It’s not clear what caused the rollover. The accident remains under investigation.
