–The Cardinals win six of the 11 events at the meet, but fall short to the Ships. Among the winners for Fondy were Nick Dilling in the 100 meter butterfly (career best 58.73) and Andrew Park in the 100 meter freestyle (career best 51.87).

–Ethan Happ posted his seventh double-double in as many games – scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds to help lead the Badgers to a win over the NC State Wolfpack at the Kohl Center. D’Mitrik Trice added 18 points on 4 of 5 shooting from three point range in the win. Wisconsin is 6-1 on the year, they’ll open Big Ten play at Iowa on Friday.

College Football:
A handful of Badger players were given All-Conference honors by the Big Ten coaches and Media Tuesday night. Linebacker TJ Edwards was named first team all-conference by the media and second team by coaches. Linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel was named third team all-conference by the conference coaches, with safety D’Cota Dixon a unanimous third team selection by the coaches and media. Van Ginkel and Ryan Connelly were named honorable mention defense by the media.
Kicker Rafael Gaglianone was named honorable mention special teams by the coaches
Penn State defensive lineman and Fond du Lac High School alumnus Robert Windsor earned honorable mention all-conference by the coaches and media.
The College Football Playoff picture is starting to take shape in the latest rankings released by the playoff selection committee. The top four teams heading into championship weekend include Alabama in the top spot, Clemson at two and Notre Dame at three. Georgia currently holds the number four spot with Oklahoma at five and Ohio State at six. The rest of the top ten includes Michigan at seven, Central Florida at eight, Florida at nine and LSU at 10. The four-teams that make the playoff will be announced on Sunday.
