College Football:
Two Badger players along with head coach Paul Chryst were honored with individual awards by the conference on Thursday. Coach Chryst was named the consensus Coach of the Year in the conference, winning the Hayes-Schembechler Coach of the Year from the coaches and the Dave McClain Coach of the Year from the media. Running back Jonathan Taylor earned the Thompson-Randle-El Freshman of the Year award, while tight end Troy Fumagalli was named the Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year in the Big Ten.
