The Packers claimed running back Kapri Bibbs off of waivers from Washington on Monday – adding some running back help after Aaron Jones is likely to miss the rest of the season with a sprained MCL. Bibbs was a 2014 undrafted free agent signee by Denver and spent a few years on the Broncos practice squad before being traded to and ultimately released by San Francisco in 2017. He spent all of last year on Washington’s practice squad and active roster.
Packers offensive lineman Alex Light has been suspended one game for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Light will miss Sunday’s game against the Jets and will be eligible to return for the team’s season finale against the Lions in week 17. The undrafted free agent out of Richmond has seen action in two games – primarily on special teams this year.
