–Brandon Woodruff turned in another strong performance on the mound, and got the run support he needed as the Brewers completed the sweep of the Nationals in Washington D.C. Sunday afternoon. Woodruff tossed seven shutout innings, giving up just two hits and striking out 10. Avisail Garcia clubbed a two-run homer in the first inning, then Omar Narvaez added a solo shot of his own in the ninth for an insurance run. Josh Hader picked up his 12th save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning. 

The Brewers return home to face the Detroit Tigers for a two-game series starting today. First pitch is 1:10 PM, radio coverage starts at 12:35 on KFIZ.
