–Christian Yelich hit a run-scoring double in the fourth inning to break a 2-2 tie and help the Brewers avoid the sweep and take the final game of their series in San Francisco Sunday afternoon. Eric Thames and Jesus Aguilar hit home runs in the win – Aguilar’s coming as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning as the Giants had pulled back within one run. Matt Albers picked up the win in relief, with Josh Hader throwing the final two innings to earn his 17th save of the year. The Brewers open a three game series in San Diego tonight – Jhoulys Chacin gets the start for the Brewers, while Joey Lucchesi goes for the Padres. Coverage starts at 8:35 pm on KFIZ.

Gary Woodland won the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, shooting a final round 69 to finish at 13-under-par for the tournament. Woodland was three shots ahead of Brooks Koepka – who shot a 68 in the final round to finish at -10. Koepka had won the last two U.S. Opens, but fell short in his quest to make history and win his third in a row. Tiger Woods finished the tournament in a tie for 21st with a -2 for the tournament.
