–The Dock Spiders used a pair of five-run innings and 14 hits to snap a three game losing skid and defeat the Mallards in Madison Thursday night. Five different Fond du Lac players recorded a two-hit game in the win – including Andrew Bullock who blasted a grand slam in the fifth inning. Bullock finished with five RBI on the night. –Orlando Arica blasted a three-run home run, part of a four-run fourth inning for the Brewers as they salvaged the final game of their interleague series with Seattle at Miller Park Thursday afternoon. Chase Anderson sacrificed home a run to start the frame, then Arcia uncorked his home run to right field to make it 4-0. The Brewers then held on, despite back-to-back run scoring doubles for the Mariners in the sixth inning. Anderson picked up the win – allowing two runs in five & ⅓ innings with six strikeouts. Josh Hader pitched the final two frames to earn save number 19 on the year. The Brewers open a weekend series against Pittsburgh tonight, coverage starts at 6:35 on KFIZ.
