Laconia Wins 2nd Straight Division 4 Championship

The Laconia Girls Basketball team takes home its second straight gold ball with a 47-43 win over Cuba City. This game was tight throughout most of the game with the Cubans taking a 4 point lead into the halftime locker room. Neither team could gain much separation from each other. In the second half a 6 point lead for Laconia quickly vanished. Under a minute left in the game Laconia takes a time out and head coach Chris Morgan sets up a play call with gives the ball to Tierney Madigan to Aubrey Leonard on a give and go for a bucket and the Spartans never looked back.
