Leadership Fond du Lac County Alumni presents Empty Bowls, 2025
Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Leadership Fond du Lac County Alumni will host Empty Bowls on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Avenue 795 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This year, guests can choose between dine-in service or take out (12:30 p.m. only).
Empty Bowls, established in 2002, is a community-driven effort to fight hunger. The three-fold purpose of this event is to promote an awareness of hunger in our community and world; create an awareness of art education and its impact on civil and social responsibility; and provide an opportunity for the community to come together to raise money for local food pantries and shelters. Proceeds from this event benefit area food pantries.
“Empty Bowls is a community-wide event dedicated to raising both awareness and vital funds for our local food pantries,” said Tracy Qualmann, Leadership alumnus ’02 and member of the 2024 Empty Bowls Planning Committee. “Beyond its strong social justice mission, the event offers guests the chance to enjoy six delicious soups, along with fresh bakery and desserts from some of our community’s favorite local restaurants.”
Attendees will have the choice of eating their soups at Avenue 795 or taking their soup and accompaniments to go (take-out is at 12:30 p.m. only and must be pre-ordered). Regardless of choice, all who purchase a ticket will receive six soups, a bakery item, dessert, and water or milk. This year, soups will be provided by Mr. & Mrs. P’s, Mr. & Mrs. Catering, Sully’s, Whispering Springs, Backyard Bar & Grill, and one yet-to-be-determined.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase tickets to win raffle baskets. All ticketed guests also have the option to take home a handmade bowl (limited quantity), or an aluminum spoon ornament donated by AL-INS Enterprises.
Tickets are $18 and available (beginning November 1, 2025) online at envisiongreaterfdl.com under the events tab, by calling Envision Greater Fond du Lac at 920.921.9500, or stopping at 23 S. Main Street, Suite 101 (entrance off Sheboygan Street) during regular business hours. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door (cash or credit card). Take-out orders must be purchased in advance.
