Lodi Man Hurt In Fox Lake Snowmobile Crash

A 31-year-old Lodi man was hurt when his snowmobile rolled over on Fox Lake Sunday morning. Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say Cory Chase had just left the Blackhawk Trail Boat Landing and a short time later while attempting a turn lost control of his sled. The snowmobile rolled over and he was ejected from it. He was not wearing a helmet. A friend who saw the crash called 911. Flight for Life flew Chase to the UW-Hospital in Madison with serious injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the accident in the Town of Fox Lake shortly before 7:30 a.m.
