Man Arrested After Barricading Himself In Waupun Home

Waupun Police and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department assisted the U.S. Marshal’s Office with a man who barricaded himself in the bedroom of a home in the 500 block of East Jefferson Street in Waupun Monday afternoon. The 25-year-old man was wanted on several felony warrants. It was believed he had a gun. Other residents of the home were safely evacuated. Negotiators were called in to assist and about two hours later the man was taken into custody without incident.
