Meeting About Oshkosh Sex Offender Tonight
Oshkosh Police will have a community notification meeting tonight about a 67-year-old sex offender that will be living in the City. Twice in the 1970s Glen Thayer was convicted of sexual assault for displaying a knife and forcing women to have sex with him after driving them from the locations he picked them up at. In 1994 he was convicted of making 100 threatening calls to women. The notification meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. On Friday Thayer will be living at 1190 Apple Court in Oshkosh.
