Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries In Hwy. 175 Crash

Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash on Friday, March 19, 2021 at approximately 11:28 AM, on Hwy. 175 near County Highway HH in the Town of Leroy in Dodge County.

Initial investigation shows that a 2003 Honda motorcycle was traveling south on Highway 175 at a high rate of speed.  The motorcycle had just passed over the top of a small hill when it began to slide on the roadway.  The motorcycle traveled off of the right/west side of the roadway, struck a mailbox and overturned in a cornfield.  The motorcycle operator, whom deputies say was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle as it slid and ended up in the cornfield.

The 25 year old motorcycle operator sustained serious injuries and he was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by:  Brownsville Fire Department, Mayville EMS, Fond du Lac Paramedics and Flight for Life.
