National Weather Service Issues Special Weather Statement For Wednesday Morning Commuters

Light freezing rain is tracking across Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties and portions of south central and southeast Wisconsin early this morning. 

A thin layer of ice may develop on roads, especially on bridges and overpasses.

Black ice can be especially dangerous because you may not be able to see it until you have already encountered it. 

If traveling, use extreme caution. Do not assume that a well traveled road will be free of ice.
