Neosho Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Highway 151 Crash

A two-car crash along Highway 151 on Thursday left a 66-year old Neosho man with life-threatening injuries. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reports the man was pulled over on the right shoulder of the highway – and it appears he re-entered the roadway so he could maneuver into the southbound lanes through a crossover in the divided highway. 

A truck with two 58-year old Omro residents then struck the man’s vehicle. They were not hurt. 

The Sheriff’s Office says while there are many residential crossovers in the highway – that making turns in them can be very dangerous and there are safer alternatives, including road intersections and interchanges.
