New hospital coming to Oshkosh in 2025

While work is getting started on the Froedtert Thedacare collaboration hospital in Fond du Lac, the group has announced the plans to also build a healthcare center in Oshkosh.
The facility, which will be located at 250 W. 6th Avenue in Oshkosh on the Fox River, is set to be open sometime in 2025.
Froedtert Thedacare said nearly 3/4ths of Oshkosh residents live east of I-41. But the two healthcare facilities currently in the city are on the west side of the interstate, saying those who live on the east side are more than 15 minutes away from a hospital or emergency room. This new facility will change that.
The $84 million, 85,000 square foot facility will be open 24/7 and have emergency care, inpatient beds, x-ray, ultrasound, mammogram, MRI, lab services, retail pharmacy, ambulatory surgery center, and a medical office building.
Froedtert, based out of Milwaukee and Theda Care out of Neenah finalized an agreement to merge on January first, of this year.
