North Fondy Fest Returns on Saturday

It’s time to celebrate all things North Fond du Lac this
weekend as the village hosts its annual North Fondy Fest at Village Park on
Saturday. Village Board President Mike Streetar says the celebration has been
going on for over 30 years. “It actually started on Wisconsin Avenue in North
Fond du Lac, and it got really big, so we moved it over to the Village Park,”
Streetar said. He adds that the festival is about “taking pride in your
community, and its continually being an event where people come back to North
Fond du Lac and see friends and family.” Kicking off the event for 2019 will
the first annual Cornhole Tournament, with music by NorthSoul from 4 until 7
pm. Boogie & The Yo-Yoz takes the stage at 8, with fireworks beginning around
dusk. North Fondy Fest also features a Family Fun Zone from 4 until 7 and food and
